Daily housekeeping is back in our market

As of Monday, our property reinstated daily room service by default, so we dropped boards from 16 to 12 rooms and added a 2:00 pm huddle to keep bathrooms and high-touch points up to standard. How are you coordinating staffing and QC to make this sustainable without slipping on cleanliness scores?

But we cap boards at 12 but bake in a 15‑minute QC buffer and do two random supervisor checks per housekeeper before the 2:00 huddle — “two audits a day, no exceptions” — which kept our cleanliness scores steady. We also have @frontdesk hold one check‑in per board until after 3:30 so a floater can fix misses, like flossing for rooms. Could you swing that hold without dinging arrivals?
